The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) (Formerly known as RCIA, Rite of Chrisitan Initian of Adults) is for anyone interested in becoming Catholic. Included in this process are those who are unbaptized and those baptized in another Christian church. Adult Catholics who have been baptized and need to complete their Sacraments of Initiation may also participate in this process.
Program Information
OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) is the process of preparation through prayer and study for those who desire to enter into full communion with the Catholic Church.
The reception of the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist take place at the Easter Vigil.
For those who are baptized Catholics, the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist will normally take place at the Parish Confirmation celebration, visit Sacramental Prep for Adults to register.
