His call to “disarm AI” and what he has to say about “the culture of power” in today’s world speaks to us all. In “Magnifica Humanitas” (“Magnificent Humanity”), he reflects on what is happening to humanity and planet earth in this new era of human history as a result of the development of the new technologies of digitalization, artificial intelligence and robotics that “are transforming our world.” He asks: Where is all this heading?

Come and learn about this encyclical letter through a pre-recorded panel dialogue sponsored by Georgetown University. Flyers with additional information are at the back of church along with an 8-point summary. All are welcome, no need to RSVP. Discussion to follow, snacks provided.
